Privacy, HIPAA and terms
Dr.life is pre-launch. Today this site does one thing with information: it collects the details you type into the early access form. Everything below describes that, and what will apply once the app opens.
Privacy on this site
The early access form asks for an email address, and optionally a ZIP code and who you are joining for. We store those, and nothing else you have not typed.
We use them for one purpose: to contact you when early access opens in your area, and to decide which areas to open next. We do not sell or rent your details, and we do not add you to a marketing list. If you want to be removed, reply to any email we send and we will delete your entry.
The chat bar on the home page is not connected to a clinician yet, and we store what is typed into it so that we can see what people are coming to Dr.life to ask. Please keep medical details out of it. It is a preview of the product, not a care channel, and it is not the place for health information.
Please do not send medical details through the early access form either, for the same reason.
We count page views on our own server to see which pages are useful. There are no cookies, no advertising trackers and no third party analytics service. A visitor is identified by a hash that changes every day, so the same person is counted once a day and the hash cannot be traced back to anyone. We record the page, the day, and the site you arrived from if there was one.
HIPAA notice
Life Medical is a healthcare provider covered by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. Protected health information created or received while treating you is handled under HIPAA and under Life Medical's Notice of Privacy Practices, which describes how that information may be used and disclosed, and the rights you have over it, including the right to see it, request corrections and request restrictions.
HIPAA obligations attach to care, not to a waitlist. Information you submit on this site before you become a patient is handled under the privacy section above. Once you are onboarded into Dr.life as a Life Medical patient, the full Notice of Privacy Practices applies, and you will receive it during onboarding.

This site describes a product that is not yet available. Screens shown here are product previews, not a running application, and features, service lines and availability may change before launch. Joining the early access list does not create a clinical relationship with Life Medical and does not guarantee an invitation.
Dr.life is a health information and care navigation product delivered by Life Medical clinicians. It is not a diagnostic device. Nothing on this site is medical advice. If you think you are having a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
